Course Request Info Night — ISHS

Who:
8th graders and 1–2 parent/guardian(s)
What:
Learn graduation requirements and plan your courses for the 2026–27 school year.
When:
Session time depends on the student’s last name (see schedule below).
Where:
Start in the Theater with a presentation from Principal Connolly, then move to a breakout session with your counselor (room numbers listed below).
Why:
Meet your counselor, ask questions, and get support planning next year’s courses.
Additional Activity:
Visit the Club Fair in the Commons.

Important Notes
Families are strongly encouraged to attend their assigned session to meet their student’s counselor.
If you have a conflict, please attend February 11 at 6:30 p.m. in the Theater and the 7:00 p.m. Breakout in the Library.
Private school and transfer students should attend February 11 at 6:30 p.m. in the Theater and the 7:00 p.m. Breakout in the Library.

The School Board will hold a special meeting on Thursday, February 12, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM for an Executive Session. The meeting will be called to order at 4:00 PM and the Board will immediately go into Executive Session, expected to last 60 minutes. The Board will then call the meeting back to order to adjourn at 5:00 PM.
The Issaquah School Board, Superintendent Tow-Yick, and legal counsel will be present to discuss litigation or potential litigation pursuant to RCW 42.30.110(1)(i). This session will be held in person at the ISD Administration Center (5150 220th Ave. SE, Issaquah, WA 98029) and on Zoom. This session is expected to last 60 minutes and end at 5:00 PM.
Executive Sessions are not open to the public and no action will be taken.
The School Board will hold a special meeting on Thursday, February 12, 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM for a Work Study.
Board Directors and ISD Administrators will meet in person in the ISD Administration Center Boardroom, 5150 220th Avenue SE Issaquah, WA 98029.
The Work Study is open to the public, however there will be no public input and no board action will be taken. Any action resulting from the discussions will take place at a future board meeting. The public is always welcome to send any comments to the Board at schoolboard@issaquah.wednet.edu.

Enrollment for our new virtual high school, ISD Online, opens on March 2, 2026, and closes on May 4, 2026.

Spring Musical will be March 4-7 at 7:00 p.m. with an additional matinee on March 7 at 2:00 p.m.
Tickets $12 students, $15 Adults. Tickets can be purchased on GoFan with a credit card ahead of time. Cash only at the door.
