FCCLA State Conference March 2026

From March 10–13, twelve of our students attended the FCCLA State Leadership Conference in Spokane, WA. This annual event brought together members from across the state to showcase their talents, leadership, and commitment to service. Our students participated in competitions, general and regional sessions, student workshops, an awards banquet, and a dance.

Our students participated in a variety of STAR Events, which recognize outstanding achievement in identifying real-world issues that impact families, careers, or communities. Competitors researched their chosen topics, developed action plans, and implemented projects designed to advocate for positive change.

We are proud to share the following results:

  • Henry Chiu, Ben Meier, and Sean Pawelczyk – Sustainability Challenge, GOLD

  • Kayla Li and Austen Yeum – Event Management, GOLD

  • Makoto Sasaki and Augie Stapleton – Fashion Design, SILVER

  • Jacob Forister and Aiden Ho – Interior Design, GOLD

  • Eduardo Hartz – Job Interview, GOLD

A special congratulations to Jacob Forister, Aiden Ho, Eduardo Hartz, Henry Chiu, Ben Meier, and Sean Pawelczyk, who have qualified for FCCLA Nationals this July in Washington, D.C.! We also want to recognize Salma Aljabi and Khushee Gupta, new students to our chapter who went as essential evaluators, learned a lot and are excited to compete next year!

In addition, we are thrilled to announce that Eduardo Hartz was elected as a State FCCLA Officer, a tremendous honor recognizing his leadership and dedication to FCCLA’s mission.

All of our participants represented the school with enthusiasm, professionalism, and creativity. Please join us in congratulating these students for their outstanding accomplishments—they made us proud!
