Issaquah Tennis Delivers a Championship Performance at State

Over memorial day weekend, Issaquah tennis had its best ever showing at the State competition, where we sent a record SIX athletes - two doubles teams and two singles players! Over two days of fantastic (and HOT) competition, our athletes demonstrated amazing tennis full of heart and achieved such great things.

• Junior Muskaan Chaudhry took 6^th in state in the girl's singles competition, dropping just THREE GAMES on the first day of play. 
• Senior Lily Narkunas and Sophomore Valorie Ni (KingCo champs!) took 3^rd in the girl's doubles competition, bouncing back from a tough loss in the semi-finals for a strong 6-3, 6-2 result in their final match.
• Freshman Katie Yin and Junior Liza Lakely took 2^nd place in the girls doubles competition, marking the Issaquah girls' best result in the doubles tournament EVER!
• Girls tennis also finished First in State as a team!
• Sophomore Adrian Marin repeated as STATE CHAMPION in the boy's singles competition! Adrian did not drop a set (and only 15 games!) the entire tournament.
