IHS Girls Golf Win the District 2 Golf Championships

The girls' golf team rallied from a 5-shot deficit to Newport after Day 1 of the District tournament to WIN the District 2 Golf Championships! Newport was the team to beat going into the tournament, so the girls came out ready to compete and battled hard to take home the gold!
The team consisted of:
- Ira Upadhyay- shot 75 day 1/ shot 74 day 2 at the Snohomish Golf Club
- Haelyn Jeon: 82/84
- Tanya Deshpande:87/80
- Justice Chae: 84/86
- Jaleyn Jeon: 87/81
- Aryana Atreya: 90/89 - earned individual alternate to the state tournament and is on the state team
Golf will be May 19 - 20 in Olympia for State. If you see them, give them a high five!
