IHS and Naga High School Students Unite at Japan Expo

Performers wearing matching uniforms on stage holding lights with "JAPAN EXPO" sign

Japan Expo is an exciting high school event where Japanese language students share their knowledge and creativity with the rest of the school. They create colorful poster boards about topics like traditional Japanese foods, cultural customs, popular games, and festivals. As students walk through the expo, they get to learn new facts, see visuals, and sometimes even try small activities or samples. The event not only helps Japanese language students showcase what they’ve learned, but also introduces others to the rich and fascinating culture of Japan in a fun and interactive way.  Exchange students from Naga High School, who are visiting IHS this week, demonstrated traditional Japanese dance and song.
