Highlighting Principal Connolly for National Principals Month
It's National Principals Month, and we're excited to share a bit about I.H.S. Principal Erin Connolly. We particularly loved hearing about who inspires Principal Connolly. Read on to find out:
◾️ How many years have you been working in education? 15 years
◾️ How many years have you worked with the ISD? 12 years
◾️ What is one of your favorite memories from when you were in school as a student? I loved Friday Night football games.
◾️ If you could live in any fantasy world, what would it be? Harry Potter
◾️ Who inspires you, and why? My mother. She is a Special Education teacher who taught me about acceptance, hard work, and the importance of being a life-long learner.
◾️ What is one of your hobbies or something you’re a huge fan of (and briefly explain why)? I'm a really big hockey fan. I grew up watching hockey with my family.
◾️ What did you do for fun/to relax this summer? We traveled! We traveled to Chicago to visit family and then got to spend a few weeks in Cape Cod and Boston.
◾️ What’s your biggest hope for this school year? I hope that all students can find success and belonging in our building, whether it's in a classroom, club, sport, or amongst their peers.
