Unstoppable Eagles Take KingCo by Storm

KingCo Champs!

The Issaquah High School Girls Soccer team has won the KingCo Championship, finishing league play with a 10-1 record. Spearheaded by a ferocious attack that includes 5 players with 5 goals or more and a stingy back line, the Eagles scored the most goals in the league and allowed the fewest goals of all 12 teams — allowing just 5 goals in those 11 league games! Overall, the Eagles boast a record of 13 wins, 1 Loss and 1 Tie, and are currently ranked #1 in the state. They have outscored opponents 44-9 for the season.

Next up, Issaquah will compete in the WesKing District Tournament as the #1 seed. The Eagles open district play on Saturday, Nov 1 in a home match at 5 pm. A victory would secure a berth in the 4A state tournament. Come out and cheer on this incredible group of student-athletes!
