Welcome IHS Eagles - Message from Principal Connolly

general announcement

Hello Issaquah High Students and Families,

I hope you’ve had a great summer and have had some time to relax and enjoy a break from the school-year routine. It’s hard to believe we’re already getting ready for another school year!

We are excited to welcome students back to IHS on August 27. We’re also looking forward to welcoming a new group of 9th graders and new students and families to our school. IHS is a big school, and there is a lot going on here on any given day. One of the things that makes it work is the involvement of our students, staff, and families. I hope everyone finds a way to be part of the IHS community this year, whether that’s through a club, activity, sport, event, or simply getting to know the people around you.

There is always a lot of information to keep track of at the beginning of the year, so I’ve included some of the most important dates and reminders below. Our Weekly Bulletin and the IHS website are the best places to find updated information, particularly over the next few weeks.

Stay Connected

Get Involved

  • We’re fortunate to have families who are very involved in our school. If you’re interested in getting involved this year, consider joining the PTSA and Booster Club, or donating to the Issaquah Schools Foundation. All three organizations provide a lot of support for our students and staff throughout the year.

We’re looking forward to having students back on campus and getting the year started. Enjoy the last couple weeks of summer, and we’ll see everyone soon!

Go Eagles,

Erin Connolly
