ISD Special Olympics Basketball Team and Liberty High School Unified Basketball Team event Feb. 6

upcoming event

The ISD Special Olympics Basketball Team and Liberty High School Unified Basketball Team are gearing up for some exciting competitions, and we’d love your support!

The Special Olympics team features student-athletes from our three comprehensive high schools and the Academy for Community Transition (ACT) program, while the Liberty Unified team is comprised of Liberty High School students and their peers. A brief moment to highlight that Liberty High School is nationally recognized as a “Unified Champion School” for their efforts to promote social inclusion, spread awareness and education of inclusion to the larger school community, and commitment to high qualify inclusive sports programs.

These events are free to attend, but donations will be gratefully accepted at the door. Contributions will support the ongoing needs of our Special Olympics programs, including facility and equipment rentals, athlete scholarships, and banquet funds.

Upcoming Event:

  • Liberty Unified vs. ISD
    • When: Thursday, February 6th, 6:30 PM
    • Where: Liberty High School

These are truly special events that our athletes look forward to all season, and we hope to fill the stands with enthusiastic supporters from the ISD community. Come cheer them on and make these moments even more memorable! (Stay tuned for a later announcement of the Skyline Shooting Stars game in the spring).

Thank you for your support!
