December Counseling Corner

December is about Kindness and Giving…

December is a season of generosity and gratitude—a time to share kindness and help others. Whether it’s lending a hand, offering a smile, or giving back to your community, small acts of compassion can make a big difference. Let’s celebrate the joy of giving and create a ripple of positivity that lasts well beyond the holidays. Wishing you all a happy holiday season of rest, relaxation and re-charging.

College Applications – January Deadlines

If you have a January college application deadline, please contact your Counselor ASAP (if you haven’t already) to make sure we have what we need. We will not be working over the Winter Break, so if you have a January deadline, we will need to submit our portion before leaving for the break.

Running Start Students

Winter Quarter classes start on January 5th. If you haven’t gotten your new EVF for Winter Quarter signed, please connect with your Counselor prior to December 18th at the very latest so we have time to complete our portion and return it to you before we go on break. For all Running Start students, you should be registered for your Winter Quarter classes by now. If you haven’t, make sure to do that ASAP before classes fill up!
