SCHEDULE CHANGES – Fall 2022
Hello Eagles!
We hope you all had a wonderful summer and are getting ready for the upcoming school year! The following information will map out the process for requesting a change to your course schedule for the 2022-23 school year. Please keep in mind, classes are quite full this year, so we will do our best to accommodate requests, but schedule changes are not guaranteed. Please note we cannot overload any courses to accommodate students changing their minds.

Schedule Change Request Google Form Open |
8:00 am on August 22nd UNTIL 8:00 am on August 26th |
If a student would like to request a schedule change, they will be able to request a change using this google form: https://forms.gle/pEm5GpnVS4nRhMMB8. They can do this at any time between August 22nd @ 8:00am up until August 26th @ 8:00am. Counselors will not be responding to emails about schedule changes during this time. All change requests must be made through the Google Form. |

On August 26th at 11:00 am, Seniors should log back in and view their schedule to see if their schedule change request was approved. On August 26th at 4:00 pm, 9th-11th graders should log back in to view their schedule to see if their schedule change request was approved. Please note that at 4:00 pm specific periods and teachers will be released on student schedules for ALL students but we do not accept course request changes for teacher changes, period changes, or lunch changes. |

Schedule Change Drop-ins For Seniors |
August 26th from 11 am- 1 pm |
On August 26th, Seniors should log into the zoom link for their individual counselor between 11am - 1pm. There will be no appointments made, this is first come, first served. During this time students can discuss any last minute schedule change requests or talk over why a previous request was not made. If you cannot access zoom for any reason please call Maureen Lipsen.

Schedule Change Drop-Ins for All Students |
August 29th between 8am- 12 pm |
On August 29th from 8am - 12pm, 9th-11th graders and any remaining seniors will be able to meet with a counselor in person or via Zoom to discuss schedule changes. Please note you ae not guaranteed to see your counselor on this day with the exception of any seniors. To request a change in person, please go to the IHS Counseling Office (2102) and sign-in on the sign-in sheet in the hallway. Counselors will see students in the order they sign-in. Schedule Change Requests the 1st 5 days of school |
August 30th- September 6th |
If students are still unhappy with their schedule, they can pick up a schedule change request form in the counseling office and return to their counselor in the counseling office by 8am to be considered for a change that day. Forms turned in after 8am will not be guaranteed to be considered until the following day. Students will follow their schedule until notified that a request change was possible. |

Schedule Change Requests Days 6-20 of the semester |
September 7th- September 27th |
September 7th - September 27th students must make an appointment with their Assistant Principal to pursue any further schedule changes. Appointments can be made for EXTENUATING CIRCUMSTANCES ONLY, and students will need to fill out a form to request a meeting with an administrator in the main office. ANYTHING DROPPED DURING THESE DATES WILL SHOW a "W" on the transcript. |

Schedule Change Requests after the 20th day of the semester |
September 27th and beyond |
September 27th, any course request changes will need to be reviewed in a meeting with the teacher, parent, student, counselor and administrator. ANYTHING DROPPED AFTER 9/27 WILL BE LISTED AS AN "F" on the transcript. |
