Sign Up for World Language Credit Test. Offered Nov. 6, Feb. 12 and April 23
Are you fluent in a language other than English? If you can speak, read, write and listen with understanding in another language you may be able to take the World Language Credit Test and earn up to four credits for high school graduation. Students who earn high marks can also earn the Seal of Biliteracy, which, if earned, will appear on your transcript.
There will be three test dates available this school year – Wednesday morning November 6th, 2024; February 12th, 2025 and April 23rd, 2025. Students must arrive at 7:30 a.m. and must pay ahead of time and register for the test. If students arrive without paying and registering for the test, they will not be able to take the test.
The test is only open to Issaquah High School students and will be offered again next school year.
If you are interested in taking the world language competency test, please read the Frequently Asked Questions and then fill out this form: https://forms.office.com/r/ar9GRrXLhu?origin=lprLink.
Once you fill out the form, you will be contacted by Mrs. Gensheimer, the test coordinator, with more information.
Board Directors Matt Coyne and A.J. Taylor will present an overview of policy governance and the role of the school board; time commitments and what it is like to serve on the ISD board; and information on how to run in the upcoming election.
